Alpaca Socks
Alpaca socks are your answer for warm and dry feet during our cold winter months. Flat World Alpacas offers an assortment of styles and thickness for your everyday wearing comfort.
The sock are made in Canada using 80% alpaca fibre.

Alpaca Fashions - Inca Fashions
Flat World Alpacas offers the Inca Fashions collection fashion wear. They are made in Peru with the highest standards of quality
and manufactured under environmentally and socially responsible Fair Trade principles.
These 100% alpaca fashions bring together natural beauty, with vivid colors, to create earth friendly clothing that is as stunning, as it is head turning. We do carry a small stock of ready-to-wear (knitted) products. You can  order from the Inca Fashion collection through Flat World Alpacas.

Boreale Felting
Another use for alpaca other fine quality fibres like merino - is they can be incorporated into felted and related products such as dryer balls, felted soap and artwork.
At Flat World we like to use our animal's fibre and other by-products to create environmentally sensitive products such as dryer balls, felted soap and fertilizer. The dryer balls are a reusable (+6 months) option to chemical dryer sheets and also help reduce drying time.

Alpaca Fertilizer (100% organic)
Alpaca manure is one of the best natural fertilizer for gardens and even house plants.  It is lower in organic matter than manure from other farm animals, but still has enough to improve soil texture and water-holding capacity.  Alpaca Beans do not have to be “aged or cured” and they will not “burn” the plants it comes in contact with.  Alpaca manure has a low odor which makes it a fantastic fertilizer to work with.
Alpaca beans can be purchased in our small "tea bag" sized packages for small fertilizing applications or in our 25 lbs bags for garden use.

Alpaca Yarn
Unfortunately we do not have alpaca yarn produced by our brood currently available. We are able to source yarn from other producers as a special order.
Like all alpacas, our brood produces a high quality fleece that we typically will have processed into wool skeins that are available to purchase.  We have a limited supply of this yarn in its natural colors.  On request, we can also source wool
skeins from other Canadian alpaca farms.
