Flat World Alpacas
Farm Visits
Farm Visits - By Appointment Only
Northern Alpacas, Oh My! Meet and feed treats to the only alpaca herd in the Northwest Territories and see the two livestock guardian dogs that protect them from predators. Learn about raising alpacas, and the role of livestock guardian dogs. Our farm is family farm enterprise but also serves as a means to keep our beautiful Livestock Guard Dogs (LGDs), Luna and Cassie occupied. We are glad to accommodate people wanting to experience and mingle with alpacas. All visits are private and by appointment, meaning this is just your small group. This leaves us flexible to adjust the visit to your needs. A typical visit is about 30 minutes and we offer them year round. You will visit the alpacas in their pastures, hand feed them while we chat about alpacas as you get acquainted with them. Group size should not exceed 12 people. We also ask that you have adequate adult supervision of kids for your visit. Rates - Adult / Individual: $ 15.00 per person - Youth (+10 yrs old): 7.50 per youth - Kids (under 10 yrs): Free - Call for Group or Special visit rates. Special or Group Visits If you are looking to organize a special event and customize your visit, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We are a small family farm, flexible and enjoy to be part of something different.
